Who is Baris Bicakci / Darkform ?
Highly acclaimed by the world’s most known and popular djs, Barış Bıçakcı’s interest of music started in his teenage years when he discovered his computer-generated skills accompanied with his taste in elecrtonic music.
In 1996 when he started djing in Doğuş FM, his music career began developing as he entered in a difficult professional process which soon helped him all through his way of music. Bıçakcı prepared porgrammes in which he presented new electronic music tracks to audiences for five years at Doğuş FM as his interest in this field expanded. He soon began taking part at the production department and became the music director of the radio station. In 2001 Barış left Doğuş FM to continue his university education at Yeditepe University, Istanbul where he studied English Language and Literature.
In the second half of 2001 Bıçakcı's partnership with “DeepXperience” group started with whom he had the opportunity to present his djing skills in various clubs of İstanbul.
